®EVOLUTION catalyzes the erotic power of a new art movement. Inspired by Aldo Tambellini’s Intermedia experiments of the early sixties, the multimedia curatorial project evolves from Streitfeld’s (R)evolution Series on http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arts/
The revue of song, poetry and dance combines the talents of New York City’s outstanding male poets — Max Blagg, Edwin Torres, Jeffrey Cyphers Wright — with kundalini songstresses Sk. Lover and Louisa Bradshaw.John Knowles, a.k.a. Panman will perform VJ Alchemy as a backdrop set.
Lisa Paul Streitfeld will read from her newly published memoir Kundalini’s Daughter.
Preliminary to the main event is performance art at 7:30 pm. Dianne Bowen’s Drawing Down the Zeitgeist will usher the audience/participants across the threshold.
There will also be a surprise appearance of an Everyday Rockstar on the threshold of international fame.7:30pm Cover $10
