CHINESE NEW YEAR OF THE RABBIT

Aquarian New Moon. A nice flow of energy between a balanced approach to relationship and embracing the Self (Aquarian stellium in the 5th house)

The Chinese New Year begins with the New Moon in Aquarius.  What does the Year of the Rabbit bring us?

(R)evolution guiding us, step by step (Uranus/Jupiter conjunction in the 6th house)  into the archetype of the Self (Sun/Mars/Neptune/Chiron in Aquarius in the 5th house).  The key imbedded in this chart is balance through major upheavals of social structures, reflecting the death of the old (postmodernism) and birth of the New.

And yet, the Chinese New Year chart reveals a volatility in the arts: an  extremist Venus/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn squared by Jupiter in Aries.  Time for reassessment, as played out in NEA chief Rocco Landesman’s recent comments.

As revolution convulses the Middle East, let us not forget that the American Revolution took place under a Jupiter square Pluto in Capricorn.  The USA Pluto Return will be a time of reckoning (can we continue to support our costly standard of living by supporting dictatorships?), and we are already involved in the process…
